We were in attendance last week when the City of Toronto continued it’s community outreach efforts efforts at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Titled “Changing Lanes – Toronto’s Laneway Housing Strategy”, the community consultation meeting was chaired by Graig Uens, Senior Planner and George Pantazis, Planner with the City of Toronto Planning Department.
The meeting offered a walk around / display board material and an opportunity to chat with the City Staff Team followed by a Staff Presentation by Mr. Uens, a question and comment session and a final Summary.
Main takeaway from this is the fact that the City has a number of positive things to say about laneway housing and it looks as if council will be in a position to approve in May 2018.
